چکیده

The formation of an obstructive thrombus within artery remains a major cause mortality and morbidity worldwide. [1] Despite effective inhibition platelet function by modern antiplatelet therapies, these agents fail to fully eliminate atherothrombotic risk. This may well be related extensive vascular disease, beyond the protective abilities treatment used. However, recent evidence suggests that residual risk in those treated with therapies is related, at least part, impaired fibrin clot lysis. Along lines, thrombosis result several changes local homeostasis: endothelial dysfunction, fibrinolytic system, increased content some coagulation factors, decreased natural inhibitors, hyperactivity [2] [3]. In this review, we attempt shed more light on role hypofibrinolysis predisposition arterial events. We provide brief overview system followed addressing coagulation, anticoagulation, fibrinolysis acute conditions, including coronary disease. also discuss prognostic implications biomarkers regarding thrombotic events, addressing, particular, people who are exposed metabolic risks (hyperlipidemia, hypertension, diabetes). conclude affecting appears contribute individuals disease therapy, targeting proteins coagulant represents viable strategy improve outcomes population. Future work required refine antithrombotic approach modulating pathological abnormalities anticoagulant tailoring therapy according need each individual

Study of the Duration, Outcomes, and Related Factors of Reperfusion Therapy in Patients with ST-Segment Elevation Myocardial Infarction

Background and Objective: One of the most important advancements regarding the care of patients with acute myocardial infarction is the administration of anti-coagulation medicines (e.g., streptokinase). However, it must be noticed that this medicine requires rapid and timely administration. Moreover, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is increasingly used as a method of revascularization...

Vitamin D deficiency predicts the ST elevation type of myocardial infarction in patients with acute coronary syndrome.

According to studies, a significant association exists between the low levels of vitamin D and cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction (MI). In a prospective, case control study, 88 patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) including ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) and Non-STEMI were enrolled. The plasma level of 25-hydroxy vitamin D[25(OH)D] was obtained at the time ...

Treatment of non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction and ST-elevation myocardial infarction in patients with chronic kidney disease

Renal dysfunction is frequent in patients with non-ST-segment elevation acute coronary syndrome (NSTE-ACS). Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is associated with very poor prognosis and is an independent predictor of early and late mortality and major bleeding in patients with NSTE-ACS. Patients with NSTE-ACS and CKD are still rarely treated according to guidelines. Medical registers reveal that pati...

The streptokinase therapy complications and its associated risk factors in patients with acute ST elevation myocardial infarction

Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is one of the main leading causes of mortality and morbidity. Despite the progress in the treatment of AMI, streptokinase is still being used in many countries. Because of the critical condition of patients with AMI and complications of streptokinase therapy, this study was performed to evaluate the pattern of adverse drug reaction (ADRs) induced by streptokina...
